Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is just for you, but likely benefits everyone in your life. During individual counseling sessions, you focus on the issues that are important to you. Typical issues that clients seek help with in individual counseling include anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, childhood issues, childhood traumas, substance abuse, difficulties in relationships, etc.
It is also common for people to work on relationship issues in individual counseling. Perhaps you don’t want to do couple’s counseling, but just want to address your own issues related to the important people in your life. At the beginning of the process, we will establish goals for what you want to accomplish in counseling and start to develop a plan on how to achieve those goals. The counseling relationship provides a safe, professional, caring environment to work on whatever issues or concerns you may have.
